The only difficulty we had was the distance from the main areas of Koh Samui. The villa is up a few kilometers from the main road, and then from there, a few more kilometers to the beach. Ideally, you would want the scooter or a car to make the trek to the main areas of Koh Samui easier. We were able to arrange a taxi back to the villa from Chaweng beach for 300-400 baht which is a reasonable price, but we sometimes had difficulty explaining where it was. Also, there was also some light construction going on in the surrounding villas during the day while we were there.

This villa would be ideal for anyone (families, friends, couples, etc.) wanting a luxurious, relaxing holiday on Koh Samui, away from the craziness and hustle-bustle of the main beachfront areas (Chaweng, Lamai, etc.). While those areas were where all the action is, we were more than happy to come home to our villa at the end of the day and unwind in the pool or on the deck, looking up to the stars over the sea. Again, while the location was somewhat far, we never had difficulties getting around and the amenities of the villa more than made up for the distance.

It was a trip and stay I will never forget and will recommend to anyone visiting Koh Samui.
